Payment
All case initiations, petitions and post judgement filings processed through the Shelby County E-File website require payment of filing fees. These filing fees must be paid with a credit card or e-check at time of filing. The fee amount may or may not be presented at time of filing. Use of the website constitutes your consent to process or charge the credit card or e-check you supply.

Refunds
Refunds due to improper collection will require that you contact the clerk’s office directly. Refunds will not be made in cash.
